Program Overview
University Honors engages a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff in the creation of global citizens through high-impact experiences that emphasize original scholarship, contribution, creativity, and innovation.
There is no cost associated with participating in University Honors.
University Honors scholarships are available for eligible University Honors students.
Target Audience and Requirements
University Honors admits incoming first-year students, continuing second-year students, continuing third-year students, and incoming transfer students.
- First-Year: A UC-calculated high school GPA greater than or equal to 3.8
- Second-Year and Third-ear: A UCR cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5
- Transfer: A transfer GPA greater than or equal to 3.25
Application Deadline
Students must be invited to apply. The application deadline varies by cohort and by year and is specified in the invitation to apply.
