*All course proposals will be reviewed with DUE's strategic goals in mind, including: boosting graduation rates, reducing equity gaps, and increasing student participation in high impact practices. 

 

 

DUE Course Proposal Process

CDAC reviews the proposed course and makes sure it is aligned with DUE's strategic goals.
Email the course syllabus and supplemental worksheet to VPDUE & Debbie Nelson.

Edits needed
Admin Liaison (Amy Chong) enters the course in CRS.
(CRS references will be based on the most current documentation sent via email to Amy)
Debbie Nelson will reach out to the requestor
with the needed updates.
Course routes to the Registrar for review and approval.
(Edits are routed back to Amy)
Once approved, course is routed to the VPDUE pending review by the FEC.
Please note this step must be complete by the first Friday of the month.

FEC approves in CRS and routes to COC.
Requestor and Admin Liaison (Amy Chong) are notified
of committee feedback to make necessary revisions.
COC communicates course status with the VPDUE office.
