Information from Health Professions Advising Center Spring 2022

Dear UCR Advising Colleagues,

As we’ve entered spring quarter ’22, I’m reaching out to share information and services from UCR Health Professions Advising Center (HPAC). Please share the following information with your advising staff and pre-health students.

As usual, in addition to advising, HPAC is offering a wide portfolio of workshops/events for all UCR students/alumni who have interest in health professions careers. As many are aware, HPAC is experiencing a staffing shortage, therefore, we’re encouraging students to attend workshops/events from our Intro. to Health Professions Advising Workshop to our weekly application workshop/event series that we’re facilitating this quarter.

HPAC 2022 March & April Workshops

HPAC 2022 May & June Workshops

In addition to our workshops, students may also meet with HPAC Ambassadors (high-achieving pre-health juniors and seniors). Students also have 24/7 access to many HPAC Workshops via the HPAC YouTube Channel.  We are taking advising appointments, but those slots are filling quickly.

Additional information regarding programming and services may be found at Health Professions Advising Center | Student Engagement (ucr.edu).

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions.

Have a great spring quarter,

Charles P. Scruggs, M.A.
