On May 1, 2019, Undergraduate Education and Undergraduate Admission, in collaboration with UCOP, Reach Higher, and Better Make Room, celebrated our regional community of scholars on our UC Riverside campus.

UCR’s College Signing Day 2019, part of Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher initiative, celebrates local young scholars’ decisions to pursue higher education and achieve their educational hopes and dreams. The event featured UCR student performances, student keynote speaker Fernanda Ambrosio, and a keynote from poet and artist Nate Howard. In addition, as part of the UC-wide celebration, students watched a livestream of Michelle Obama, speaking at our national event.
