The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is undergoing a significant transformation with a rebrand of its Tutorial Assistance Program (TAP). The concept plan offers distinct opportunities to provide first-rate tutoring services to all UCR students, beginning with the reconstruction of the tutor training program, a redesign of the ARC front lobby, and a restructure of the appointment/drop-in scheduling system. From July through September, the ARC has contracted the professional services of Drs. Sharon Silverman and Martha Casazza of TRPP Associates to direct the tutor training program redesign. The new tutor training program must satisfy the expectations of a Guiding Coalition made up of faculty and staff as well as an ARC Advisory Team, both groups working simultaneously to rebrand TAP. We invite our campus partners:faculty, staff, and students:to contact Sara Weertz or members of the Guiding Coalition with ideas and suggestions for this transformation.
