The Academic Senate recently approved the offering of student-initiated courses, also known as R' Courses. For Spring Quarter 2014, the Office of Undergraduate Education hopes to work with motivated students to pilot one or two R'Courses. In Academic Year 2014-15, R'Courses will be officially launched with the Call for Proposals available in Fall, student facilitator training in Winter, and R'Courses offered in Spring.
