Off Campus Academic Experiences

Education from a global stadium.
Classrooms can exist beyond the University of California. Here at Undergraduate Education, students can have the means to study abroad or travel to world renown universities and institutions. Students can choose to study a semester, year, or during their summer break to travel the world and be embedded into a university abroad. Students also have the ability to travel and intern in Washington DC through the UCDC academic program. Opportunities to intern within the state are also available to students through the UCCS.
The International Education Center caters to outbound students who have the desire and eligibility to study in a foreign country. Summer Study Abroad offers UC Riverside campus courses from the General Catalog, taught by UC Riverside faculty, at an off-campus location during a five-week session in the summer. The courses can satisfy general education requirements and/or keep you on track with your coursework for your major or minor. UC Riverside has partnered with UC Davis to provide students with academic programs in public-policy and public-affairs journalism. UCCS offers students valuable internship opportunities and academic courses at various branches and locations in the state government. The UC Riverside Washington Academic Program provides undergraduate students with a multi-dimensional educational experience in Washington, D.C. Students undertake educational and academic pursuits as well as participate in cultural and social activities.
